Adi Shankaracharya: Adi Shankaracharya as the commentator of the Vedas and Upanishads, the originator of the 'Advaita Vedanta' doctrine and the composer of the melodious hymns and vacchanpathas that have been on the lips of generations in the Sanskrit language, and are familiar to all. Shankaracharya, who lived only for 32 years, traveled all over India from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and spread the philosophy of Advaita Vedanta. He guided the Vedas, the Upanishads and the Bhagavad Gita all over India as the 'Prasthana Triad' i.e. the path to spiritual liberation.
 
He did the task of promoting the Vedic culture, which was dominated by rituals, to the path of knowledge. He  achieved this by reason, argument and boundless love. While describing the nature of Brahma as nirguna, nirakara and nirvikalpa, he also sang the praises of the Saguna God through his hymns. He taught that there is no difference between Jiva and Brahman and only ignorance causes separation of Jiva and Brahman and this Avidya is Maya. Explaining the nature of this Maya and how to make human life meaningful. To educate people  He raised the flag of Sannyas Ashram and established monasteries in the four directions of India. He taught that Upasaka and Upasya are not different but one. 'Atman' means within oneself. He explained the path of this journey through his books 'Shankarbhashya' and 'Upadesha Sahastri' as well as Nirtishaya beautiful hymns by saying that knowing the soul means knowing the divine.
 
Through the audio book 'Shankaracharya Uwach', Amrit Vachanas from the scriptures composed by Adi Shankaracharya have been told in simple Marathi in a structured way according to the topic. Apart from this, listening or reciting as their daily routine  Avit Godi hymns to be done are included in some reciting form and some singing form.
